Weekly Focus

It is time to begin working on Learning Goals! As we begin the school year, now is a great time to become familiar with what is expected for student learning this year. You can find the grade-level Learning Goals for your student on the Parent Portal website. Simply go to Quick Links and select “Submissions” to access the Math and English Language Arts Learning Goals and other helpful submission resources.

Be sure to use the Learning Goals that correspond with the grade level your student is enrolled in this year.

If you need any additional help getting started, just reach out to your teacher. They are happy to support you!

Action Items:

  1. Look for Screener sign-ups from your Homeroom Teacher coming soon!

Classes & Clubs

We understand that sometimes live and anchor classes or elective clubs are not the perfect fit for every student. You are welcome to drop a class or club if it’s not working for you. However, the period to drop for a reimbursement has closed. This form will remove students from the courses in Buzz.

Please note that it may take up to 14 days to remove students from accounts.

Resources

Check out the Provided Homeroom Resources area in your homeroom to explore all the great resources available to you anytime! You’ll find helpful tools and options to support learning across all subject areas.

Supplemental Learning Funds

If you have not yet utilized funding so far this year and are not sure how to navigate our new fund hub portal, you can jump right into our Training Center — This will provide you with helpful videos on how to submit an order, request homeroom resources, submit an alternate vendor payment, or use you exciting browser extension, THE FUND HUB CLIPPER!

What is the fund hub clipper? This is an easy way for you to add all the fun items you are hoping to purchase to your order rather than having to paste the individual URL links for every item!

If you are wondering why you do not see your classes and clubs you have signed up for deducted from your funding, we will get those added within the next week!

Newly Added to the Fund Hub Portal:

  • Braintree Printed Curriculum
    • The Middle Ages (4th Grade ELA)
    • Folktales (4th Grade ELA)
    • Fractured Fairy Tales (3rd Grade ELA)
  • Braintree Academy Student ID Card (Can be found under Opt-in Resources)
    • ID Card Only
